Nathan Smith lacks any understanding of what he supports as to erasing all borders. He either isn’t thinking or he can’t think or he refuses to think. Right now, if the borders were erased in all Western countries, an onslaught of 2 billion people would stampede out of their misery, hunger, starvation, poverty, illiteracy, lack of water, lack of resources–and descend onto America, Canada, Europe and Australia. They would overrun Western societies to create population overloads, carbon footprint overloads and water overloads like nothing ever seen in human history. They would create even more hunger, more starvation, more babies and more misery in the countries where they settled. They’re already do it in the USA and Canada. Reality check: it is not sustainable. It cannot be supported. It is not viable. It is ludicrous. It is stupid. It is unintelligent to propose such an absurd idea. Nathan Smith needs to travel across 6 continents like I have to gain some understanding of his lack of a grasp on reality. Frosty Wooldridge, 6 continent world bicycle traveler

just because you cannot comprehend the notion doesn’t mean the idea is absurd. just because u have travelled 6 continents doesn’t make you any wiser than the one who hasn’t. just simple question to you, based on your theory shouldn’t everyone in Peurto Rico be living in Vegas or New York or Florida, since they are allowed to travel? So, why are they still living in Peurto Rico which I suppose is less developed than US.

Nathan, this is a brilliant article, and a wonderful idea. I hope to see this in my lifetime.
